2. Data processed

When you contact us by email or telephone, we may process your name, company, contact details and the subject and content of your enquiry. Server logs and Matomo analytics may record technical usage data such as the IP address, time, requested page, referring page, browser and device information.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Contact data is processed to respond to enquiries, prepare a customer relationship and handle service requests. Technical usage data is processed to understand and improve use of the website and to maintain its security. Processing is based on consent or the controller’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining and improving its website.

4. Data retention

Enquiry data is retained only for as long as required to handle the matter, maintain a possible customer relationship or meet legal obligations. Analytics and log data is retained only for as long as necessary to maintain, improve and secure the website.

5. Data disclosures

Data is not sold. Matomo analytics is operated on ICT-IDEA Oy’s own analyzer.ict-idea.com service. Data may be processed by technical service providers used by ICT-IDEA Oy only to the extent required to provide the service.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to processing and withdraw consent. Requests can be sent to the controller by email.

7. Cookies and technical data

Matomo analytics is configured to operate without cookies. The website does not use marketing, analytics or session cookies. Matomo and the server process technical usage data to measure and improve website use and maintain security.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe your personal data is being processed unlawfully, you may contact the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland.
